Talking about how the song Now Is Time came about, that we recorded in the Lounge Room Sessions videos. The song Now Is Time, is about a time when I read a kinesiology book a friend was studying and it had a section on different personality types. I found the one that summed me up and it was so accurate that it hit home so much that it brought me tears. It showed me things about myself that seemed so personal yet were staring right at me on the pages of this random book that just seemed to have landed in my lap. It moved me so much that I instantly felt compelled to write a song about it. That was the birth of this song. It’s about having hidden my opinions in order to avoid confrontation and then realising that no longer serves me so can let it go. Can you relate?
