The title of The Space We Are comes from the idea that when we look at matter at a microscopic level we see that we are actually made up of faaaaar more space than we are so called ‘matter’. The distance of the nucleus of a cell to the surrounding electrons is comparable to a 10 cent coin in a cathedral !!
The point being that if we aren’t as solid as we think we are then could it be possible that we’re not as fixed in time and space and we think we are? And then could we change easier than we sometimes think we can?
